THE ANTHONY SHUKER SCIENTIFIC POSTER SESSION

A Virtual Competition

Call for Abstracts will Open in Spring 2025.

Georgia Life Sciences invites the submission of abstracts from Georgia-based scientists for the 2025 Georgia Life Sciences Summit Poster session.

A panel of judges will review the posters to determine up to five (5) cash awards for research presented. Each award will consist of recognition on Day 2 from the mainstage of the conference and a prize of $250. The top 10 semi-finalists will receive a free Summit registration.

Who can participate?

This opportunity is open to representatives from Georgia-based academia, research institutes and industry alike, and we especially encourage students and post-doctoral fellows to participate.

What are the categories?

Abstracts will be subject to the same scientific review as for any national or regional meeting. The scientific content of poster presentations should be rooted in the life sciences, such as the following example categories:

For selected student, post-doctoral, or non-profit organization abstracts, the corresponding author will receive complimentary Summit registration. Additionally, student-submitted posters will be eligible for a limited number of poster awards.

Judging

A panel of judges will review all submitted abstracts and the top 20 abstracts will be invited to participate in a live judging session in early July. The top 10 semi-finalists will be invited to attend the Georgia Life Sciences Summit for free where the winners will be announced.
