A distinguished member of GDEcD’s Global Commerce division, EJane Caraway leads the Life Sciences team in providing assistance to companies considering establishing or expanding their presence in Georgia. EJane also works across multiple industries to assist in locating new jobs and investment to the state. Since joining GDEcD in the fall of 2009, and working closely with organizations across Georgia to grow the state’s Life Science community, EJane has lead more than 170 economic development projects, with companies including Google, NCR, Anthem, Greenway Health, Boehringer Ingelheim, Boston Scientific, Next Gen BIO Banking, Jindal Poly Film, Takeda, and Facebook – to name a few. Projects led by EJane have generated over $6.5 billion in capital investment and created more than 18,000 jobs for Georgians. EJane’s membership affiliations include the Georgia HIMSS Board, GA Bio Board, Past President Innovation Crescent Board, Georgia Economic Developers Association, Southeast Development Council, Korean Southeast U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and several others. She has volunteered with a number of organizations over the years including the American Cancer Society, Boy Scouts of America and Samaritans Purse. EJane holds a BS Degree in Business Management from East Tennessee State University, and is a Certified Economic Development Finance Professional.
